LD Lines operates the old P&O route from Portsmouth to Le Havre with an ex Dover - Calais vessel named "The Norman Spirit" which is a rapid, up-to-date ferry that can carry on board most types of vehicles, including cars, motor homes, motorcycles, caravans and also freight vehicles.
LD Lines offer many facilities on board to help you enjoy your journey, there are a number of restaurants, cafeterias and leisure facilities, or simply relax in one of the three lounge areas. You'll also find shopping, kids areas, games, Internet access, Sky Sports viewing is also available. As there are only a limited number of cabins on board the Pullman seats are of a very high quality both for Standard Class and Club Class passengers. Starting in summer 2009 LD Lines have announced they will be operating a service from Dover to Boulogne. With a new row row terminal and a hub port development in Boulogne LD Lines will initially operate the Norman Spirit with four return sailings daily.
